It’s a new year, which means an entirely new class of graduates are getting set to walk across the stage this coming spring, finally getting a chance to turn their tassels from right to left and celebrate their accomplishments in front of a sea of  family, friends, and colleagues. 

The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) estimates that approximately 3.7 million high school students will walk across the stage and roughly 3.9 million post-secondary degrees (associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate) will be awarded for the 2019-2020 academic year. That’s a lot of caps in the air!
